The Women in Digital Business (WiDB) Training Program 2025 is a training program designed to equip women with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the digital business world. The program aims to bridge the gap between traditional education and the demands of the digital economy.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be a woman aged 18-40
- Have a passion for entrepreneurship and innovation
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt quickly
- Possess basic computer skills and be familiar with online platforms
Program Details
- Preference will be given to non-tech micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
- Fluency in English Language is required.
Program Tracks
- Pilot Track
- Be part of the inaugural cohort beginning December 16, 2024.
- Support program refinement by providing valuable feedback during the training.
- Unlock exclusive perks, including investment readiness training, funding support, and other tailored resources from AM-Steve House.
- Enjoy flexibility to transition to the Regular Track if it better suits your needs.
- Regular Track
- Start the program at a later date, based on an optimized schedule informed by Pilot Track feedback.
- Participate in a more structured and polished version of the program.
- Benefit from predefined class dates and a refined curriculum to enhance your learning experience.

- ILO SIYB Courses (Based on your business needs)
- GYB: Generate Your Business Idea
- SYB: Start Your Business
- IYB: Improve Your Business
- Formalization Support
- Guidance on branding, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Qualifying businesses receive support for basic formalization costs (e.g., CAC registration).
Training Structure
- Phase 1 (6 weeks): Complete the Women in Digital Business course.
- Week 1: Create a work plan.
- Weeks 2–6: Refine the plan with facilitators.
- Includes a 1-week break.
- Phase 2 (6 weeks): Top participants move on to the Formalization and SIYB courses, taken concurrently.
Program Delivery
- Mode: Flipped classroom with self-paced online content and facilitated walkthrough sessions (in-person or online).
- Platform: Access low-bandwidth, user-friendly resources on the AM-Steve House platform.
- Community: Join a vibrant network of entrepreneurs for peer support, expert mentoring, and post-program perks.

About the Program
The WIDB Training Program aims to empower 50,000 women entrepreneurs across Africa over three years. This pilot phase will train 500 Nigerian women, setting the stage for a continental rollout to bridge the digital and gender gap in non-tech MSMEs.
