Failure to maintain enrollment and satisfactory academic progress in AA (Vocal) program for the full duration of the scholarship may result in withdrawal of the award.

Scholarship Description: The W. Crane Guy Memorial Vocal Scholarship was created to honor the memory, multiple talents and artistic career of MI alumnus W. Crane Guy (class of 2010); and is provided to encourage and support the educational growth of a newly enrolling Vocal Program student. The scholarship will be awarded in Fall 2013 to a new student (US or non-US citizens) enrolling in the Associate of Arts in Performance (Vocal) program who demonstrates overall outstanding musicianship, and the potential for developing their own unique voice in any style. Preference will be given to veterans, but this is not required for eligibility. The scholarship is applicable for students enrolled in the AA Vocal performance program only, and may not be transferred to a non- performance program emphases (Audio Engineering, Music Business, Independent Artist, Guitar Craft, or Film) within an AA degree.
