University of Brighton is offering four international research scholarships to outstanding international students in all areas of study. Scholarships are offered for up to a maximum of 3 years and cover 50 per cent off the cost of tuition fees for your research programme. Applicants must be a new full-time international research student and must have applied to join a research programme at the University of Brighton and been offered a place for 2014 entry. Applications for research scholarships are considered at three points during the academic year: the end of June, the end of October and the end of February.

Eligibility: In order to be eligible to apply for a scholarship you must be a new full-time international research student and must have applied to join a research programme at the University of Brighton and been offered a place for 2014 entry.

Selection criteria: The criteria for awarding University of Brighton international research scholarships are as follows:

  • academic merit (including English language ability);
  • full fee-paying international student status;
  • acceptance onto a research programme at the University of Brighton.

Notification: The decision of the research scholarship committee will be communicated to applicants soon after each of the meetings and that decision is final. Accompanying documentation will not be returned.

Please note application forms will only be sent to students holding unconditional offers for a full-time place with us.
