Each year, the INSEAD Alumni Fund (IAF) is funding Diversity need based scholarships at INSEAD campuses. Scholarship supports outstanding men and women professionals to pursue MBA studies. Emerging/developing country applicants can apply for this MBA scholarship. Several awards will be awarded which covers up to €10,000 amount. Eligibility: Several awards will be allocated per class to candidates who can justify the difficulty in raising sufficient finances for their studies at INSEAD. Preference will be given to candidates residing in emerging/developing countries.

Scholarship Description: The INSEAD Alumni Fund (IAF), created in 1977, raises funds from alumni for INSEAD’s development. One area of alumni support is for scholarships to underwrite the breadth of diversity of participants in the programme: country of origin, academic and professional background, gender etc. The IAF Diversity scholarships support INSEAD’s commitment to bringing outstanding men and women professionals from emerging/developing countries to the MBA programme, especially those who may have difficulty affording it. A major source of funding for the IAF Diversity Scholarships is from Class Reunion Gifts made to the School when classes return to campus every five years. The recipients of IAF Diversity Scholarships may expect alumni to actively encourage them to make their own contribution to the Alumni Fund in the future.

Selection Criteria: The group of need-based scholarships are primarily focused on emerging and developing markets. Therefore, when reviewing these scholarship applications, financial need is the main criterion.
Notification: For the December Class, scholarship decisions for Rounds 1 and 2 will be communicated by e-mail from mid to late October and for Round 3 by the end of October.
