2020 CQUPT President Scholarship (For All International Students)
1. Supporting Categories and Duration:
1). Supporting Category. Chinese Language students, undergraduate, master students and doctoral students.
2. Scholarship Standard
(1) For Chinese Language students, undergraduate, master students
1. First class: master degree 10000RMBï¼bachelor degree& Chinese language students 6000RMB
2. Second class: master degree 8000RMBï¼bachelor degree& Chinese language students 4000RMB
â Scholarship could offset a part of the tuition fee.
(2) Doctoral students
- Tuition Fee Waived
- Free university dormitory ï¼Twin Roomï¼
- Stipend: 3500RMB/month
â It supports students for no more than 3 academic years .students need to attend the Annual Review, the university could suspend or cancel all of your scholarship if you fail to pass the annual review.

4. Eligibility
1ï¼. Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than the People's Republic of China, and be in good health
2ï¼. The requirements for applicants' degree and age are that applicants must:
be a high school graduate under the age of 45 when apply for the Chinese Language programs;
be a high school graduates under the age of 25 when apply for the undergraduate programs;
be a bachelor's degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for the master programs;
be a master's degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for the doctoral programs.
3) . Applicants should not be holding any other scholarship.
5. Application Procedure and Application Documentsï¼in duplicateï¼
Complete the Application Form for CQUPT President Scholarship (Attachment 1) and print a hard copy, and then mail all hard copy application documents to International office of CQUPT before April 15th 2020 .
1). 2 Passport size Photos
2). Application Form for Chongqing Municipal Government Scholarshipï¼written in Chinese or Englishï¼;
3). Application Form for Study in CQUPT (application website:https://cqupt.17gz.org )
4). Notarized highest diploma;
Prospective diploma recipients must submit official document issued by your current school to prove your current student status or expected graduation date. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
5). Academic transcripts ï¼written in Chinese or Englishï¼;
Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
6). A Study Plan or Research Proposal ï¼written in Chinese or Englishï¼;
7). Two Recommendation Letters signed by a professor or an associate professor.
ï¼written in Chinese or Englishï¼(only required for graduates applicants);
8). Copy of valid Passport Home Page
9). The record of studies or worked in China if you ever worked or studies in China
10). Non-criminal record
11). Foreigner Physical Examination Form ï¼photocopyï¼ ï¼written in English, can be downloaded in the attachment 2ï¼;
The physical examinations must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid. Please carefully plan your physical examination schedule as the result is valid for only 6 months.
12). Papers or Articles Published or to be Published and the copy of valid Language Certificate ï¼if availableï¼.
