University of Bradford is offering scholarships for students of developing countries to study full time master program except MBA. Minimum three scholarships are available covering full tuition fees and accommodation and also provide living cost up to £3,500 per annum. To apply for these scholarships, applicants must have been offered a place to study at the University of Bradford, UK, send it along with application form until 10th June 2013.

Eligibility:

  • Students must be on a full-time Master’s programme (not MBA) and be self-funded. Students must be studying based at the University of Bradford i.e. distance learning students are not eligible to apply.
  • Students from the following list of countries are invited to apply for these scholarships. However in extreme circumstances applications from students from other countries will be considered by the panel. Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Colombia, Congo, Congo, Democratic Republic of the Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Georgia, Guinea, Haiti, Honduras, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kenya, Korea, Democratic People’s Republic of, Lebanon, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Maldives, Mauritania, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, Niger, Occupied Palestinian Territory, Pakistan, Russia (North Caucasus), Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Swaziland, Syrian Arab Republic, Tanzania, United Republic of Timor-Leste, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: Scholarships are available for the students of Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Colombia, Congo, Congo, Democratic Republic of the Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Georgia, Guinea, Haiti, Honduras, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kenya, Korea, Democratic People’s Republic of, Lebanon, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Maldives, Mauritania, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, Niger, Occupied Palestinian Territory, Pakistan, Russia (North Caucasus), Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Swaziland, Syrian Arab Republic, Tanzania, United Republic of Timor-Leste, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

Scholarship Description: These scholarships are to aid students in financial hardship due to the fact that they are domiciled in a country that is in crisis as a result of the political situation, war, natural disaster etc.

Number of awards offered: There will be a minimum of 3 scholarships available.

What does it cover? Full tuition fees and accommodation in The Green will be covered plus £3,500 per annum living costs to be paid in three installments – October, January and April. Each scholarship is worth approximately £20,000.

Notification: The scholarship panel will consider their application in July. Applicants will be informed of the decision in mid-July.

How to Apply: Applications are submitted by email: scholarships@bradford.ac.uk. Or you can print it off and fill it in by hand and send it by post Please do not apply for this scholarship until you’ve been offered a place to study at the University of Bradford. You need to provide a copy of your offer letter with your scholarship application.

Scholarship Application Deadline: The offer letter must be dated no later than the Friday 17th May 2013.  All completed forms must be received by Monday 10th June 2013 – applications submitted after this date will not be considered.
