Official Release of O-Level, A-Level, TVEE IL and AL Results

The Cameroon General Certificate of Education (GCE) Board has officially released the results for the 2025 session of the GCE examinations, including the Ordinary Level (O-Level), Advanced Level (A-Level), and both Intermediate and Advanced levels of the Technical and Vocational Education Examinations (TVEE IL and TVEE AL). This release is in strict accordance with the academic calendar, which had set the deadline for publication on July 31, 2025.

This timely release is consistent with the Board's tradition of publishing results between the end of July and the beginning of August.

How to Check Your Results

Students and parents can access the results through the following channels:

  • SMS Service: Candidates can receive their individual results via SMS directly on their mobile phones.
  • Official Examination Centers: Printed results have been posted at designated GCE centers across the country.
  • Online Access: Results are also available on the GCE Board's official website. Candidates must provide their registration and candidate numbers to log in.

Reflecting on 2024's GCE Performance

The 2024 session recorded a national pass rate of 60.8%, marking a decrease from the 67.6% observed in 2023. This decline was largely attributed to stricter examination monitoring and enhanced verification protocols. O-Level results showed a 62.5% pass rate, while A-Level results reached 61.2%.

Among the regions, the Centre Region led with a 66.3% pass rate, while the Far North Region lagged behind at 50.5%. Denominational schools outperformed others, recording exceptional pass rates of 84.5% at the O-Level and 86.1% at the A-Level.

As students across the country discover their results, attention now turns to what lies ahead—university admissions, job applications, and future academic planning.
