- Possess 4 GCE O/L papers or a Probatoire, with a pass in English. Candidates without a pass in English may attend an intensive English course at the University of Bamenda to qualify.

- A duly filled registration form, available online at www.hitbamenda.cm.
- Certified copies of birth certificate, GCE O/L or Probatoire, and GCE A/L or Baccalaureate (all dated within the last 6 months).
- Certified transcripts of GCE O/L and GCE A/L or Probatoire and Baccalaureate.
- A medical certificate of fitness (less than 3 months old).

- Written Examination (70% of final mark):
- Paper I (Major): Mathematics or Economics (2 hours, Coefficient 4).
