Competitive Entrance Examination into the first year of the Higher Engineering program at the NASMOS - University of Ebolowa

## Announcement for the NASMOST Entrance Examination (2025/2026) The Ministry of Higher Education of Cameroon has announced the opening of a competitive entrance examination for the first year of the Higher Engineering program at the National Advanced School of Maritime and Ocean Science and Technology (NASMOST) of the University of Ebolowa for the 2025/2026 academic year. This is a written examination and aims to recruit 400 student engineers. ## Fields of Study and Places Offered The examination is organized for two fields of study, with a specific number of places allocated to each. The required diplomas vary depending on the chosen field. | Training areas | Required Bachelor's Degree | Number of places | | :--- | :--- | :--- | | Maritime and Oceanographic Sciences and Technology (MOST) | C, D, E, F, BT, IT \ GCE AL in Sciences and Technology | 250 | | Sciences of Maritime and Port Management (SMPM) | All types of Baccalaureate \ All GCE AL in three papers, excluding Religious Knowledge | 150 | ## Examination Centers and Procedures The examination will take place in several cities in Cameroon. * **Examination centers:** Kribi, Bafoussam, Bertoua, Buea, Douala, Ebolowa, Garoua, Yaoundé. * **Examination date:** Sunday, September 28, 2025, starting at 8:00 a.m. * **Exams:** There will be no oral examination. The exam includes two written papers (75%) and a school marks score (25%). For the SMPM field, the curriculum is for the Première and Terminale classes and the Lower and Upper Sixth Literary series. ## Application Requirements and File Submission Candidates must meet certain conditions and submit a complete file. The age limit is twenty-nine (29) years old at most, as of January 1, 2025. Complete application files must be deposited by Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. **Application file documents:** * An application form to be filled out online, downloaded, and stamped at 1500 FCFA. * A certified true copy of the National Identity Card and birth certificate (dated not more than 3 months old). * Certified true copies of the GCE/OL or Probatoire and GCE/AL or Baccalaureate transcripts (dated not more than 3 months). * A certified true copy of the GCE/AL or Baccalaureate certificate, or a certificate of success if applicable. * A medical certificate dated not more than three (03) months, issued by a public medical practitioner. * An A4 envelope with a 1000 FCFA stamp and the candidate's address. * Four (04) passport-sized photographs with the candidate's name and surname on the back. * The receipt for the examination fee of 20,000 FCFA, payable to CCA Bank account N°00272769801.
