The Ministry of Higher Education of Cameroon announces the opening of a competitive entrance examination for admission into the first year at the Fotso Victor University Institute of Technology (IUT-FV) of the University of Dschang in Bandjoun. This examination aims to recruit 1,620 students for the University Diploma in Technology (DUT) and Higher National Diploma (BTS) programs for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Eligibility Conditions
The examination is open to candidates holding:
- A Baccalaureate or GCE/AL in at least two specialized subjects, obtained in a single sitting.
- For the Science and Technology field: Scientific and industrial Baccalaureates (series C, D, E, F, TI, MAV, MEM) or GCE/AL in sciences (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry).
- For the Management and Commercial Sciences field: All Baccalaureate series or GCE/AL.
Application Requirements
Applications must include:
- A printed registration form from the online platform.
- Certified transcripts for Second, First, and Final Year (or equivalents).
- Certified copies of diplomas (Baccalaureate, GCE/AL, Probatoire, GCE/OL).
- Four passport-sized photos, a birth certificate (issued within the last 3 months), a medical certificate, a stamped self-addressed envelope, and proof of payment of registration fees (20,000 FCFA).
Examination Dates and Centers
- DUT: Written tests on August 14, 2025, in Bamenda, Bandjoun, Bertoua, Buéa, Douala, Ebolowa, Garoua, and Yaoundé.
- BTS: Written test on August 22, 2025, only in Bandjoun.

DUT Programs
- Science and Technology: Electrical Engineering (120 seats), Computer Engineering (120 seats), Civil Engineering (120 seats), and other specializations (see table).
- Management and Commercial Sciences: Business and Administration Management (120 seats).
BTS Programs
- Science and Technology: Maintenance of Electronic Systems (60 seats), Networks and Security (60 seats), etc.
- Management and Commercial Sciences: Accounting and Business Management (60 seats), Marketing (60 seats), etc.
Examination Structure and Admission Criteria
- DUT: Mathematics and Physics (coefficient 4 each) for Science and Technology; General Mathematics and General Knowledge in Economics for Management.
- BTS: Specialized subject and Mathematics/Physics for Science and Technology; Accounting or General Mathematics and General Knowledge in Economics for Management.
- Written exams count for 80%, while file evaluation counts for 20%.
Results Publication
Results will be published by the Ministry of Higher Education after deliberation by the jury.
