The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MINADER) of Cameroon is pleased to announce the competitive entrance examination for the first year of the Agricultural Technicians (TA) program for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Program Overview
This two-year professional training program leads to a Diploma of Agricultural Technician awarded by MINADER, designed to equip students with practical agricultural skills and technical knowledge.
Participating Institutions
The program will be offered at multiple prestigious institutions across Cameroon:
Regional Agricultural Colleges (CRA)
- CRA Bambili (65 external seats)
- CRA Ebolowa (45 external seats)
- CRA Maroua (50 external seats)
Technical Schools of Agriculture (ETA)
- ETA Garoua (55 external seats)
- ETA Ebolowa (45 external seats)
- ETA Sangmélima (30 external seats)
Specialized Institutes
- IAO-ISAG Obala (100 external seats)
- IFPAK Kaele (50 external seats)
Note: Each institution reserves 5 seats for internal candidates (MINADER staff)
Eligibility Requirements
For External Candidates:
- Must hold a Probatoire certificate or equivalent qualification
- Minimum age: 17 years
- Candidates awaiting 2025 exam results may apply provisionally
For Internal Candidates (MINADER Staff):
- Must hold an Assistant Agricultural Technician (AAT) Diploma
- Minimum 5 years of service at current grade
International Candidates:
- Admission through file review
- Must provide diploma equivalency certificates
Application Process
Required Documents:
- Stamped application letter (1,500 FCFA)
- Certified copies of:
- Birth certificate (<3 months old)
- Academic diplomas (<3 months old)
- Medical certificate of fitness
- 2 passport-sized photos (4x4 cm)
- Payment receipts
Application Fees:
- 20,000 FCFA for national candidates
- 35,000 FCFA for international candidates
