The University of Bamenda is pleased to announce the opening of admissions for private candidates into the First Year of the First Cycle (Year One) and First Year of the Second Cycle (Year Four) of the Higher Teacher Training College (HTTC) Bambili for the 2025/2026 Academic Year. This admission is governed by Decision No: 15/0066/UBA/VC/REG/DETTC dated 17 July 2025.

Admission Requirements
For First Cycle (Year One)
- GCE/AL holders: At least two subjects, including the major subject of the department, and GCE/OL in four subjects (excluding Religious Knowledge).
- Baccalauréat/Probatoire holders: Pass in the major subject of the department.
- Foreign diploma holders: Must submit equivalence or proof of application for equivalence from the Ministry of Higher Education.

For Second Cycle (Year Four)
- Bachelor Degree or Licence in the relevant teaching subject.
- Counsellor Education (DIPCO II): Bachelor Degree in Guidance & Counselling, Psychology, or related fields.
- Foreign diploma holders: Equivalence or proof of application for equivalence is mandatory.

Required Documents
- Completed application form (downloadable from http://httcbambili.com/).
- Certified true copies of academic certificates (GCE A/L, Baccalauréat, or Bachelor transcripts).
- Birth certificate (photocopy and certified copy).
- Medical certificate of fitness to teach.
- Proof of payment (20,000 FCFA non-refundable fee).
- Sponsorship letter from a verifiable private educational institution.
- Two passport-size photographs.
- Additional documents as specified for foreign candidates.
Submission Deadline
Complete application files must be submitted to the Admission Office of HTTC Bambili by Friday, 19 September 2025, at 3:30 PM.
